Washington Physical Therapy, an independently owned private practice, opened its doors in October of 2003 and was located on the second floor of the Patients First Building. At that time, the clinic consisted of one Physical Therapist, Cyndi Lohrer, Clinic Director and one Front Office staff. As patient referrals grew, so did the need for additional staffing. By 2006, the clinic had grown from a team of two to an impressive staff of six which included four physical therapists and two front office staff. With this addition, came more services offered; vestibular rehabilitation, lymphedema therapy and more manual therapies. In 2008, came the announcement Patients First would be expanding. This news offered a new space with over 1800 additional square feet and first floor accessibility for Washington Physical Therapy patients. In June 2009, the office relocated to the first floor and began treating patients in its new location. Since the move, Washington Physical Therapy has added a Massage Therapist along with a Wellness/Sports Coordinator to better serve our community and help individuals with their wellness goals as well as an additional therapist and an additional front office person. Washington Physical Therapy is committed to providing the best possible care to our patients in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Our mission is to provide a healthy and caring environment with the best possible outcome for our patients and physicians. It is our policy that each patient be treated exclusively by a Licensed Physical Therapist and remains with that therapist throughout their entire treatment whenever possible. We are a unique clinic in that all our physical therapists have had advanced training in manual techniques that include myofascial release, craniosacral treatments and other orthopedic conditions. We accept most major insurances, including workman's compensation insurance and Medicare. We look forward to helping you reach your therapy goals. | ||
